Notes: Resumen: The Web has assumed a place of great importance within organizations. With the introduction of the new generation Web 2.0, sharing and exchange of text, images and videos permit users to play an active rather than a passive role. Blogs and wiki sites witness to the possibilities of this platform and the advantages that it offers to the public and thus to all sorts of organizations. After discussing Web 2.0 and some of its technical features, the author reflects on the benefits it offers to the archival community has to face certain challengers with regard to data processing, the process of selection within the organization's historical memory, and the methodology of preserving these records
