Didactic service is the central mission of the Wolfsburg Archives, which sees itself first and foremost as an educational centre. The author begings by describing the general setting at the archives: the young written documenntary heritage, the institutional unity of Municipal Archives and History Workshop, modern project rooms and the democratic impetus underlying user orientation. After then addressing the conzept of "reflexive and constructive archival didactics", the author provides and exhaustive description of the organisations's project-oriented archival practive which has proved a great success with teachers and schoolchildren as well as more traditional users
Sumario: El articulo aborda el tema del trabajo en un archivo de distrito y la importancia que tiene en ellos la historia local. El conocimiento de la historia local puede tener una aplicación práctica en la enseñanza. De lo que se trata es que los niños de las escuelas vayan a visitar el archivo como una clase práctica y aprendan historia de su entorno geográfico.
