Notes: Resumen: Recent social and politic developments as pluralism and the civil society make the document of NGOs/NPOs and similar organizations in the third sector much more important for the archives, which should use a more active strategy for this new challenge. It may be possible to apply the methods of the approved horizontal-vertical appraisal for these organizations and their documents. As the appraisal of governmental documents become more and more cooperative, the appraisal of NGO/NPO documents needs a cooperation between different types of archives, too.
